Impression of Nepal

Kathmandu Valley with its seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites, offers a unique and rich cultural heritage boasting of traditions that go back in time and some of the finest stone, wood, and metal arts you will not see anywhere else in the world. You will explore ancient temples and religious shrines of the three medieval kingdoms, namely Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Patan. This trip takes you into a kind of mystical history where the past still remains alive in the present. We explore through the royal medieval cities of Kathmandu valley and further to Bandipur a small mountain ethnic village where you will enjoy the beauty of landscapes and sunrise over world famous Himalayan peaks: Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Annapurna, Lamjung, Ganesh and Langtang.

Day 01: Kathmandu arrival

arrival and transfer to the hotel, Welcome drink on arrival. Briefing on the tour in the evening.


Day 02: Kathmandu full day sightseeing:

Kathmandu Durbar Square:

Many of Kathmandu's stunning temples and palaces were built during the Malla dynasty from the 13th to 18th centuries, which was the historic seat of royalty. It is the place where the kings of Nepal are crowned and their coronation solemnized. There are many shrines and fascinating wood carving windows, stone carving temples are scattered around in this area. Temple of Kumari House is one of the most holiest and beautiful place of the square. Kumari is a young girl child who is considered the living goddess. The Kathmandu Durbar Square is enlisted in World Heritage site in 1979.


Perched on a conical hilltop just west of Kathmandu, this revered Buddhist temple offers great views of the city. . It is said to be 2,000 years old, It was listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Monument List in 1979. A large image of Buddha is in a monastery next to the Stupa

Day 03: Pashupatinath:

Sprawling along the banks of the Bagmati River, just 4km (2.5 miles) from Kathmandu, Pashupatinath is Nepal's holiest Hindu site, attracting pilgrims and sadhus (Hindu holy men) from across the country. Non-Hindus are not allowed into the main temple, but visitors can view the whole area from across the sacred river.


Boudha Nath Stupa:

It is the focal point of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal and lies 8km east of Kathmandu and is the largest stupa in the South Asia, looming 36m overhead. It was listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Monument list in 1979.


Patan Durbar Square:

Patan also known as ‘Lalitpur’ literally, the City of Artisans, lies 5km southeast of Kathmandu, and is home to the valley’s finest craftsmen. Most finest monuments and shrines around the city are Hiranya Varna Mahabihar the three storied golden pagoda dating back to the 12th Century A.D. Krishna Temple It was built by King Siddhi Narasigh Malla in 1637. The Krishna temple is built in the Shikhara style or entirely built in Stone and full of little stone carving of Hindu religious epic Ramayana.


The famous temple of Mahabouddha in Patan is unique for its thousand little images of Buddha in terracotta. Kumbheshwar The temple of Kumbheswar is the only five storied pagoda in Patan and is dedicated to Lord Shiva.


Day 04: Full day sight seeing of Bhaktapur Town:

Located about 20 km east of Kathmandu in the Kathmandu Valley, It is one of the 3 royal cities in the Kathmandu Valley. Bhaktapur is filled with monuments, most terra-cotta with carved wood columns, palaces and temples with elaborate carvings, gilded roofs, open courtyards. Bhaktapur's Durbar ('Royal') Square was added to the list of World Heritage Sites by UNESCO in 1979.


In and around Durbar Square, most attractions shrines and temples are the 55-Window Palace, The Nyatpol (or Nyatapola) Temple, dedicated to the Goddess Lakshmi, lies in this square. Built in 1702 with 5 stories, this is Nepal's tallest pagoda temple. In the late afternoon drive further to Dhulikhel and stopover in a resort hotel.


Day 05: Dhulikhel hike to Panauti and transfer to Kathmandu

Dhulikel- Panuati Excursion 15 Km.

You will be wake up early morning with choice of coffee/tea for the sunrise over the Himalaya. Beauty of mountains and hills and paddy field are simply magnificent. After the sunrise you can either make a walk around and get some fresh air or go back to sleep until the breakfast time. After breakfast, we will head for a day excursion to Panuti, a small beautiful town located to the south of Dhulikhel used be a place that used to be the trading center between the business man from Nepal and Tibet. The excursion will take about 3/4hours and drive back to Kathmandu.


Day 06: Kathmandu – Bandipur

Get away from the trappings of city life and drive down from Kathmandu to Dumre then upto Bandipur, the ancient trading town. 135 km about 4 hours drive from Kathmandu, it lies perched on a ridge. Once a town dominated by the Newari community, Newari architecture can be perceived in the houses and temples in town that hark back to the days of Kathmandu Valley. Walk up the hill that towers over the town and enjoy an unrestricted view of Himalayan peaks: Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Annapurna, Lamjung, Ganesh and Langtang. There are excellent short hikes around Bandipur. You can also catch a spectacular sunset with your camera from the top. A short distance below the town is a recently discovered cave that is a 100m deep, one of the biggest in Nepal. We will stopover in a simple guest house.


Day 07: Bandipur – Kathmandu:

After breakfast we will drive back to Kathmandu.


Day 08:

Final Departure.

  • A very good 3 Star standard Hotel located in the heart of city in quite and calm place in Kathmandu and in Pokhara with breakfast on twin-sharing basis.
  • Lodging and three meals during Trekking tour.

Cost Excludes

  • International airfare to and from Kathmandu.
  • All meals other than those provided during trekking.

  • Accommodations are based on a twin-sharing arrangement. For single occupancy a supplement will be added.
  • Rescue operation by any means of transportation inside and outside of the country, liabilities for loss of life, theft and damage of personal items.
